Project Delivery Overview
MTCC (My Virtual Consultant) was delivered as a scalable diagnostic assessment platform designed to support consultants in running structured business diagnostics for their clients. The system was built using a modern monorepo architecture, enabling the development of two core applications: an Admin Portal for consultants to build and manage diagnostics, and a Survey Runner for respondents to complete assessments through a secure, mobile-first interface. Both applications were developed using React, TypeScript, and Chakra UI, while a Node.js and Express API handled secure services such as token authentication, email delivery, scoring computation, and group assessment workflows. Firebase services were used for authentication, data storage, and real-time data management, enabling rapid deployment with strong security and multi-tenant isolation.
Development focused on creating an end-to-end diagnostic lifecycle, from building assessments and inviting participants to analysing results and generating reports. Consultants can design diagnostics from a structured question bank, send secure invitations to individuals or groups, and monitor progress through a real-time dashboard. Respondents complete diagnostics via a guided survey experience with auto-save and progress tracking, after which the platform automatically calculates weighted scores across categories, domains, and headline performance metrics. Results are visualised through interactive circumplex charts and detailed reports, giving consultants a powerful, data-driven way to diagnose organisational capability and guide strategic improvement.
